There are only a few days left to run in the May election.

1. If you were born 20 years ago on this day, you'd only be 5 years old, thanks to Leap Year. How did it all begin? In an attempt to stay aligned with the lunar cycle, a day was added in February, once every four years. There will be 366 days in this year's calendar, but we will stay on track with the cycles of the moon, which is what our calendar follows. If we had an even number of days, each year we would drift out of sync, according to Wikipedia.com.
