5 Things You Need to Know Today: Jan. 18

Our weekday morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.

1. Bring your toddler to Toddler Time at the Shrewsbury Public Library. Enjoy age-appropriate books and songs. Toddler Time starts at 10:30 a.m., at 609 Main St.

2. The no longer serves as an agent for state gaming and fishing licenses. For Fish & Wildlife information and fees, you may visit the MassWildlife's website.

3. Get your game on at the SPLAT Apples-to-Apples Tournament, at 4 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St. For kids in grade 5 and up.

4. Dog licenses were due Jan. 1. A $10.00 late fee will be added to all dog licenses issued after March 1. For more information, please go the Licenses page on the town clerk's website.
