Anniversary of Mass Vets Advisor Celebrated in Shrewsbury
The website has been viewed by more than 33,000 veterans and their family members.
Veterans and Massachusetts officials gathered in Shrewsbury yesterday to celebrate the one year anniversary of MassVetsAdvisor.org.
The website, which helps veterans and their families determine which benefits they are eligible for, was the first one of it's kind in the country.
“We are encouraged by the response that the Veteran community has had toward MassVetsAdvisor and are extremely proud that it has made it easier for our servicemen to find the benefits they are due,” Pamela Goldberg, Chief Executive Officer of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, said.
The website has been viewed more than 200,000 times by 33,000 people people.
