Armed Robbery at Shell Station; Suspect Eluded Police
Police are asking the public's help with any information pertaining to the incident.

An armed robbery occurred at the Rt. 9 Shell Station on 271 Boston Turnpike on Aug. 13. Police responded, but the suspect had fled the store, according to a Shrewsbury police press release.
No one was injured in the robbery, and only one suspect is believed to be involved. The suspect entered the Shell Station at 11:43 p.m., showed the clerk a handgun and demanded cash. Once obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the store.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late twenties to early thirties. He is 5’8” to six feet in height with a “stocky build, extremely pale round face,” according to the release. He is also described as wearing tinted glasses, black hoodie sweatshirt and having scruffy blond goatee.

Shrewsbury police responded, along with the Mass State Police K-9, but the suspect wasn’t found.
