Arrests Include Aggravated Assault, Drug Violations, Assault with Dangerous Weapon

Sunday, June 2
8:45 a.m.: A caller reported a hit and run crash on Hartford Turnpike.
2:41 p.m.: A caller from South Quinsigamond reported an assault. A female from the residence was taken in to protective custody.

3:00 p.m.: A resident on Oak Street went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report an assault.
4:00 p.m.: The lake officer spoke with several boaters on Lake Quinsigamond and issued several citations.

5:31 p.m.: The lake officer spoke with kids who were jumping off the Route 290 bridge into Lake Quinsigamond.
8:04 p.m.: A caller from CVS reported that a person committed shoplifting and then fled in a vehicle from New Hampshire. Officers arrested Theadore Banks, 70, of 42 Water St., Fitchburg on charges of resisting arrest, failure to stop, operating with a suspended license and shoplifting.
Monday, June 3
12:13 p.m.: A person went in to the police station to report stolen flashing from a roof on Maple Avenue.
11:12 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a drug violation at the Worcester City Motel. Eddie Alamo, 23, of 12 Townsend St., Worcester was arrested and charged with possession of a class E substance and possession of a class B substance.
11:12 p.m.: A caller from CVS reported a shoplifter.
Tuesday, June 4
1:59 a.m.: a 911 caller reported a break-in in progress on Hawkridge Road. Officers responded and everything appeared in order.
8:20 a.m.: A caller from Worcester City Motel reported a female that overdosed on heroin. The woman was taken to a hospital and Thomas Franek, 45, was arrested on warrant charges.
5:06 p.m.: A 911 caller from Hartford Turnpike reported an assault. Stephen Valastro, 35, of 235 Southwest Cutoff, Worcester was arrested and charged with assault and battery, disturbing the peace and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
8:49 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a domestic assault. Justin Nolan, 35, of 20 Bosworth Rd., was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
