Assault and Dangerous Weapons Charges

Tuesday, Jan. 3:

Akeem L. Rose, 27, of 5 Jacques Ave., Worcester, was arrested Dec. 31 by and charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, carrying a firearm without a license and two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon. Judge Robert Calagione continued the case to Feb. 1.

Wednesday, Jan. 4:

Ronald K. Bynum, 39, of 26 Hacker St. Apt. 3, Worcester, was summonsed
into court Sept. 18 by Shrewsbury police and charged with receiving
stolen property under $250 and shoplifting. He pled guilty to the
first charge, Judge Robert Calagione sentenced him to 30 days in the
House of Correction, with credit for 24 days served. The second charge
was dismissed.

Marcos A. Oliveira, 44, of 545 Lake St., Shrewsbury, was arrested Nov.
13 by Shrewsbury police on charges of keeping a noisy and disorderly
house and assisting a person under 21 in purchasing liquor. Judge
Robert Calagione dismissed both charges, the first on payment of  $200
in court costs and the second on payment of $300 in court costs.

Dawn Mahoney, 40, of 87 Georgetown Dr. #5, Framingham, was arrested
Jan. 2 by Shrewsbury police and charged with operating a motor vehicle
with a suspended license, subsequent offense; failure to stop/yield
and being a motor vehicle operator refusing to identify herself. Judge
Robert Calagione continued the case to Feb. 9.

Bartlomie J. Marcinowski, 39, of 532 Madison Place, Shrewsbury, was
summonsed into court Jan. 1 by Shrewsbury police and charged with OUI
liquor, marked lanes violation and speeding. Judge Robert Calagione
continued the case to Feb. 9.

Andrew J. Ferguson, 22, last known address of 7 Rice St., Shrewsbury,
22, was summonsed into court Sept. 23 by Shrewsbury police and charged
with possession of burglary tools, larceny from a building and
destruction of property. Judge Robert Calagione dismissed all charges.

Thursday, Jan. 5:

Danny Lacroix, 56, of 60 Grove St., Worcester, was summonsed into court on Oct. 19 after Shrewsbury police filled out a criminal complaint charging him with receiving stolen property. Judge Vito Virzi continued the case until Feb. 15.

Friday, Jan. 6:

Sandra Krause, 49, of 33 Lakeside Dr. in Shrewsbury, was summonsed into court after Peter B. McCarthy of Southborough filed a complaint on June 8 and charged her with assault and battery for an incident which happened in Westborough on Dec. 17, 2010. Judge David Locke dismissed the charge by request of the victim and defendant.

Caleb Swalec, 25, of 36 Holt St. in West Boylston, was summonsed into court after Shrewsbury police filed a complaint on Dec. 2 charging him with larceny from a building for an incident which occurred on Aug. 24. Judge David Locke continued the case to Feb. 15.

Prasenjit Hazro, 36, of 900 Madison Place, Apt. 732, in Shrewsbury, was arrested on Jan. 6 by Shrewsbury police and charged with OUI liquor with an oral reading of .08 percent or higher, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, speeding in violation of special regulation and failure to stop for a police officer. Judge David Locke continued the case to Feb. 16.
