Bank Robbery Suspect Indicted

A woman accused of robbing People's United Bank will face charges in Worcester Superior Court.

Charges of armed robbery and threatening to commit a crime were dismissed in Westborough District Court against a Millbury woman because she has been indicted in Worcester Superior Court.

Elizabeth A. Jacevicius, 23, of 32 Hayward Lane, Millbury, was summonsed to court Nov. 9 by on charges of armed robbery and threatening to commit a crime. Judge Virzi dismissed the charges on Wednesday because she was indicted on the charges in Superior Court.

According to court documents, she entered on 505 Main St. on Oct. 31  and passed a note to a teller that said that this was a robbery. She demanded $7,500. The note said she had a gun and read "If you (explicative) this up, you will die.''

Police had searched the area around Main Street looking for the suspect after the robbery, but were unable to find her.
