Best of Patch Readers' Choice Winner: Danielson Flowers

Roses are red and violets are blue. And the votes are in and Danielson Flowers was chosen by you.

With 77 percent of the votes, one local florist was chosen as the best florist in Shrewsbury.

And the winner is: .

The florist has been in town since 1955 and is family-owned and run.

"We try our very best every day and we try to know the new trends," said co-owner Judy Danielson. "We try to balance keeping current and being down to earth and our goal is to be the best town florist in Shrewsbury."

With a huge variety of flowers on their website, the florist sure has the right mix of traditional and contemporary offerings. They are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shrewsbury Patch readers also liked flower department, which is located right when you walk in the front door. They got 7 votes.
