Building 19 to Close Shrewsbury Location

A Shrewsbury icon will once again be closing in the near future as Building 19 closes the business that occupies the former home of Spag's on Route 9.

Building 19 President William Elovitz told the Worcester Telegram and Gazette that the business will be shutting their doors before the end of the summer.

"We have people who have worked at that store for 20 years, 30 years, back to the days of Spag's," Elovitz told the Telegram.

There are currently 14 employees at the store, and the Elovitz has not said whether they will be laid off or will be allowed to transfer to another location.
