Calling Hours for Mike Kleminich, Longtime Shrewsbury Resident, on Tuesday

Michael M. "Mike" Kleminich, 86, died Friday, July 5, after a long illness. Kleminich was a resident of Shrewsbury for 62 years, reported the Community Advocate. 

Kleminich was a coach, teacher and athletic director for 36 years at the Shrewsbury schools. He was also a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Navy.  

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, July 9, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St. His funeral will be held Wednesday, July 10, with family gathering at the funeral home at 9 a.m. and then proceeding to St. Mary’s Church, 640 Main St., to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.

Instead of flowers, Mike’s family requests that donations be sent to the Arthritis Foundation, 20 Crafts St., Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458-1287.
