Champs, All-Stars, Letters Of Intent: Shrewsbury HS Sports Update

SHREWSBURY, MA—The Shrewsbury Colonials are coming off of a successful winter varsity season filled with championships, all-stars and letters of intent for colleges.

Here's a wrap-up of the season via the Shrewsbury High School Athletic Department:

Girls Ice Hockey

• Finished the season 20-1
• CMASS League Champions
• Qualified for the MIAA Division II State Tournament

Boys Ice Hockey

• Finished the season 20-2-2
• Quinn Conference Champions
• Qualified for the MIAA Division III District Playoffs as the #1 Seed
• CMASS Champions
• MIAA Division III State Champions

Girls Basketball

• Finished the season 7-13

Boys Basketball

• Finished the season 9-11

Girls Indoor Track

• Finished the season 2-2
• Finished 4th at the Midland-Wachusett League Championships
• Qualified for the District Championships

Boys Indoor Track

• Finished the regular season 3-1
• Finished 2nd at the Midland-Wachusett League Championships
• District Championships placed 2nd
• 4x200m Relay Team Division I and New England Champions

Girls Swimming/Dive

• Finished the regular season 7-4
• Qualified for Sectional and State Championships

Boys Swimming/Dive

• Finished the regular season 2-9

Gymnastics

• Finished the regular season 2-6
• Finished 6th at MIAA State Sectionals

Girls Alpine Ski

• Finished the regular season 22-14
• Qualified for the MIAA Division I State Championships

Boys Alpine Ski

• Zach Jablonski, only member of boys’ team, qualified for the MIAA Division I State Championships
