Driver Charged With Racing on Route 9, Possession of Drugs
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, May 5
12:53 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Boston Turnpike and arrested Leonardo Dasilveira, 20, of 2 Cedar Pl., Framingham. Dasilveira was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, unlicensed operation and racing a motor vehicle.
2:36 p.m.: An officer assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department with a fire at Shrewsbury Crossing.

3:05 p.m.: Dale Flanders, 57, of 29 Smith Rd. was arrested on a warrant charge.
3:22 p.m.: The fire department responded to a mulch fire in the area of Christmas Tree Shops.

7:07 p.m.: An officer took a report of an earlier theft at CVS.
7:16 p.m.: An ATV was towed after several callers reported the driver causing a disturbance on Worthington Avenue.
Monday, May 6
7:49 a.m.: Four cars were towed after a crash on Hartford Turnpike. At least one person was hospitalized.
10:15 a.m.: A caller reported that her dog was attacked on Yorkshire Terrace.
1:13 p.m.: Both vehicles from a two-car crash were towed from Holden Street.
5:27 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Route 9 and arrested Sampson Rawle, 22, of 11 Prospect St., Worcester. Rawle was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a class B substance and right on red violation.
11:31 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Harold Lane. Joshua Russell, 31, of 45B Lakeside Dr., was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and carrying a dangerous weapon.
