Emergency Water Main Repair On N. Quinsigamond In Shrewsbury

The Water and Sewer Division is currently responding to a water valve failure on North Quinsigamond Avenue near house #220. Crews are working to isolate the impacted section of water main, and will then begin making the repairs. We expect the water to be off for 6-8 hours on North Quinsigamond Avenue from the driveway to the Postal Distribution Center to the intersection of Audubon Drive.

Residents in the vicinity of the impacted area may have discolored water due to the interruption in water service. If you experience discolored water once service has been restored, please run the cold water in an outside faucet, or downstairs bathtub until it clears.
