Exceptional Touring Musician Willy Porter to Play at Shrewsbury Media Connection

Guitarist extraordinaire, singer/songwriter, and extra-kind human Willy Porter will be playing a rare and up-close, intimate concert in Shrewsbury, on Saturday, July 11, at 9:30 p.m. (7 p.m. show is sold out and this second show added) at Shrewsbury Media Connection, 15 Parker Road, according to an announcement.

Milwaukee native Willy and music partner Carmen Nickerson will light the stage with their beautiful harmonies, powerful songs, humor, and the remarkable guitar work that Willy is known for internationally. Many of their songs will be from Willy’s newest CD, “Human Kindness,” which spins a positive approach to life and its challenges, as well as songs from the recent “Cheeseburgers and Gasoline,” and others from Willy’s vast career accumulation of masterpieces.

Willy and Carmen have been past guests on Shrewsbury’s “Mostly Rock ‘n Roll” award-winning cable access TV music show. A portion of ticket sales will go to help support the Nick Todisco Young Filmmakers Scholarship Fund. Ticket link with music video links and all info here.
