Five Arrested in Shrewsbury Over Weekend

Friday, May 17
8:50 a.m.: A caller from Shrewsbury Commons reported vandalism to their fence and garden.
11:13 a.m.: A resident went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report an incident that occurred at a school bus stop on Avalon Way.

7:50 p.m.: Officers served an arrest warrant to Herbert Merrill, 60, of 788 Boston Trnpk., Apt. 3.
Saturday, May 18

8:43 a.m.: An officer took a report of a car vs. light post crash on Grafton Street.
10:09 a.m.: Two vehicles were towed after a crash at the intersection of Boston Turnpike and Grafton Street. One person was taken to UMass Medical Center.
10:56 a.m.: Xunce Zhou, 47, of 16 Sandpiper Dr. was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.
2:07 p.m.: One vehicle was towed after a two-car crash on South Quinsigamond.
3:43 p.m.: Officers served a probation warrant to Gabrielle Moreau, 23, of 8 Cottage Ave.
6:27 p.m.: A caller from South Quinsigamond reported a break-in that occurred earlier in the day.
6:49 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a crash on Hartford Turnpike. One vehicle was towed.
Sunday, May 19
12:49 a.m.: Officers served an arrest warrant to Jason Gendron, 38, of 202 Bradofrd St., Pittsfield for charges of speeding, possession of heroin and operating with a suspended license.
12:58 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious male on Main Street. The man was taken in to protective custody.
1:15 a.m.: An officer arrested Kyle Schmidt, 26, of 162 Columbus St., Fitchburg at the Worcester City Motel on charges of possession of a class A substance.
12:37 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a larceny of their dog from the White City Shopping Center. The person called back a short time later to say their dog was at home.
3:30 p.m.: A caller from Minuteman Way reported a dispute with their neighbor over lawn clippings.
8:17 p.m.: A caller from CVS reported a larceny.
Monday, May 20
1:38 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Boston Turnpike and arrested James Hollins, 35, of 96 Robin Ridge Dr., Feeding Hills, MA on charges of operating with a revoked license.
