Friends Of Outreach For The Shrewsbury Council On Aging
Friends of Outreach would work to promote social, emotional, and physical support to the Shrewsbury Seniors.

Shrewsbury Council on Aging is seeking volunteers to form a non-profit, 501(c)3 Friends of Outreach organization that will help support the Shrewsbury Council on Aging Outreach initiatives. The organization would conduct service projects and fundraising programs.

You do not have to be a senior to volunteer, in fact we would love it to be a multigenerational organization.
Friends of Outreach would work to promote social, emotional, and physical support to the Shrewsbury Seniors.

Outreach initiatives include:
- Wellness Programs (Are You OK?, Friendly Visitors)
- YAHOO- Young Adults Helping Others Out
- Home Repair Group
- Fundraising to support the need of fuel assistance, life long learning, and nutrition
- Connect & Assist
- Marketing the services and programs the Senior Center Provides
