Shrewsbury Gas Prices Below State Average

With grills being fired up across the country to celebrate Memorial Day, many people will be traveling to enjoy family and friends this weekend.

A few weeks ago, the price of gas began to drop and has held steady at about $3.71 a gallon, and .

The price of gas across the state has held steady for the fourth week, according to the WBJ.com.

The average price for a gallon of regular self-serve gasoline in the state now stands at $3.71, according to AAA Southern New England. That's 18 cents lower than a month ago and 22 cents lower than a year ago.

The current Massachusetts price is a penny less than the national average.
