Gymnastics Learning Center Gymnasts Qualify for Eastern Nationals

Gymnastics Learning Center Gymnasts Qualify for Eastern National Championships!


Gymnastics Learning Center (GLC) gymnasts Nova Staruk of West Boylston, Emma Conca of Grafton, and Morgan Lunn of Rutland have all earned a spot on the Level 9 Regional GymnasticsTeam and will be competing at the Eastern National Championships in Rochester New York on May 4th and 5th.

All three girls earned their spot competing at the Level 9 Regional Championships April 14-15. They competed against the top gymnasts in New England and New York. Out of those athletes only the top 7 athletes in each age division qualify to the Eastern National Championships.

Nova Staruk, age 14, placed 2nd All Around earning a Gold Medal on Vault and Floor and a Silver Medal on Balance Beam.

Emma Conca, age 12, placed 5th All Around.

Morgan Lunn, age 14, placed 7th All Around earning a medal on Vault.

The GLC gymnasts will be competing against the top gymnasts on the entire eastern half of the country for a shot at a National title. All three girls train at Gymnastics Learning Center, in Shrewsbury, coached by Josh Orton and Pete Degenhardt.
