In Court: Multiple OUI Arrests

Monday, June 11:

Thomas G. Brown, 67, of 7B Burbanks St., Millbury, was was summonsed to court on a complaint June 7 by Shrewsbury police and charged with disorderly conduct. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 16. Shrewsbury police charged him after he refused to move his broken-down vehicle on Maple Avenue June 7, saying he refused to allow the tow truck to touch it, according to the police report. The incident caused traffic back-up and gridlock, according to the report.

Marilyn Vera, 22, of 1038 Main St., 2nd floor, Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint June 11 by Shrewsbury police and charged with OUI liquor and miscellaneous bylaw ordinance violation. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 18.

Kwabena O. Boamatt, 30, of 1 Beckett St. Apt. 2, Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint June 10 by Shrewsbury police and charged with driving with a suspended license. Judge Virzi dismissed the case upon payment of $800 in court costs.

Timothy Pratt, 31, of 6500 E. Seneca Turnpike, Hastings, N.Y., was summonsed to court on a complaint June 9 by State Police in Shrewsbury and charged with OUI liquor. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 12.

Eric H. Brodeur, 37, of 92 Paige Hill Rd., Southbridge, was summonsed to court on a complaint June 9 by Shrewsbury police and charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 23.

Denise Lewis, 48, of 3 Middlesex Ave., Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint June 10 by Shrewsbury police and charged with shoplifting. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 18.

Kelly Cochrane, 31, of 50 Franklin St., Apt. 301, Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint June 10 by Shrewsbury police and charged with shoplifting over $100 and possession of a class B drug. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 18.

Maura Blanchflower, 20, of 4 Avery Lane, Sterling, was summonsed to court on a complaint June 11 by state police in Shrewsbury and charged with OUI, marked lanes violation, speeding and possession of a class E drug. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 2.
