In Court: Shrewsbury Man Accosts Woman

The following cases were heard in Westborough District Court.

Wednesday, May 16:

Corey R. Collins, 24, of 15 Walnut Hill Lane, Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint May 15 by Shrewsbury police and charged with disorderly conduct on a public conveyance, accosting/annoying a person of the opposite sex and furnishing a false name as an arrestee. Judge Calagione continued the case to June 15. The charges stem from an alleged incident May 15 when Collins accosted two women in Dean Park and used unwanted sexually explicit speech and behavior, according to the police report. He also reportedly gave a false name to police and was disorderly, the report said.

Henry Steenstra, 25, of 17 Campground Rd., West Boylston, was summonsed to court by Shrewsbury police on a complaint April 24 and charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Judge Vito Virzi continued the case to July 6.

William R. Packard, 56, of 17 Edgemont Rd., Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint March 11 by Shrewsbury police and charged with assault and battery. Judge Virzi dismissed the charges.

Jasmine Fuertes, 21, of 123A St., Framingham, was summonsed to court on a complaint Feb. 22 by Shrewsbury police and charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (scissors), assault and battery and malicious destruction of property valued over $250. Judge Virzi dismissed all charges. She was accused of slapping and punching her boyfriend, biting him in the bicep and attacking him with scissors, according to court documents.
