In Court: Man Charged with Attempted Murder
The following cases were heard in Westborough District Court.

Bienvenido Santiago Jr., 35, of 111 Country Club Blvd., Worcester, was arrested May 22 in Shrewsbury by state police and charged with driving without a license, failure to wear a seat belt, miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 25.
John C. George Jr., 51, of 27 Lakeview Ave., Shrewsbury, was was summonsed to court on a complaint Feb. 8 by Grafton police and charged with motor vehicle larceny. Judge Virzi continued the case to July 16. Grafton police charged George after he rented a vehicle from Atlantic Turtle Top on Ferry Street in South Grafton on Nov. 21, 2011 police said. He was supposed to return the vehicle by Nov. 23, but it was not returned, the police report said.
Enrique Morales-sales, 45, of 165 Turnpike Rd., Apt. 45, was arrested May 16 by and charged with driving without a license and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. Judge Virzi dismissed the first charge upon payment of $600 in court costs and found him not responsible on the second charge.

Hamilton Oliviera, 47, of 37 Yorkshire Terrace, Apt. 5, Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint March 18 and charged with two counts of assault and battery, assault and battery with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Judge Virzi found him guilty on one count of assault and battery and ordered him to serve 75 days in the House of Correction, with credit for 75 days. The remaining charges were dismissed.
