In Court: Woman Refuses to Pay for Drink, Causes Scene
A Worcester woman caused a scene at Buca di Beppo and was arrested.

On Tuesday, a Worcester woman drank three glasses of wine at and then attempted to leave the restaurant without paying.
When confronted about not paying her bill, the woman allegedly assaulted the victim by pushing him, according to the police report.

During the police officer's struggle with the woman, traffic began to slow, which created a dangerous situation for everyone involved.
When police attempted to take her into custody, the woman struggled, yelled, stiffened her arms, pulled her arms away and refused to allow police officers to handcuff her.

Martine M. Blanc, 44, of 44 Sagamore Road, Worcester, was arrested and charged with with larceny under $250, assault and battery, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was arraigned in Westborough District Court on Wednesday and Judge Virzi continued the case to July 8.
