Judges Rule on Shrewsbury Cases

Monday March 26:

 

Isabella C. Lewis, 24, of 38 Hosmer St., Marlborough, was arrested March 25 by and charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and intimidating a witness. Judge Vito Virzi continued the case to May 23.

Alcino Dasilva, 43, of 545 Lake St., Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint March 25 by Shrewsbury police and charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and intimidating a witness. Judge Virzi continued the case to May 23.

Diego S. Tameirao, 29, of 243A Purchase St., Milford, was arrested March 25 by Shrewsbury police and charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and intimidating a witness. Judge Virzi continued the case to May 23.

Anderson J. Desouza, 22, of of 545 Lake St., Shrewsbury, was arrested March 25 by Shrewsbury police and charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and intimidating a witness. Judge Virzi continued the case to May 23.

Leslie P. Fristoe, 27, of 31 Granby Rd., Apt.. 3, Worcester, of 545 Lake St., Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint Jan. 30 by Westborough police and charged with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Judge Virzi continued the case to May 3.

Luciano Martins, 34, of 106 Maple St., Northborough, was arrested March 25 by Shrewsbury police and charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and intimidating a witness. Judge Virzi continued the case to May 23.

John F. Sharp, 35, of 426 So. Quinsigamond. Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint Dec. 2 by Shrewsbury police and charged with assault and battery. Judge Virzi dismissed the case.

Kevin J. Barlow, 56, of 16 Ridgefield Circle, Boylston, was summonsed to court on a complaint March 25 by Shrewsbury police and charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Judge Virzi continued the case to April 19. 

Wednesday March 28:

Timothy E. Sullivan, 50, of 200 Burncoat St., Worcester, was arrested March 27 by Shrewsbury police and charged with assault and battery. Judge Vito Virzi continued  the case to May 17.

Michael D. Russell Jr., 30, of 11 Gleason Rd., Shrewsbury, was arrested March 28 by Shrewsbury police and charged with OUI liquor and marked lanes violation. Judge Virzi continued the case to April 18.

Miguel A. Africa, 20, of 7 George St., Shrewsbury, was arrested Sept. 9 by Shrewsbury police and charged with possession of a class D substance, possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute and being a person under 21 in possession of alcohol. Judge Virzi found sufficient facts on the first charge, continued the case without a finding to March 26, 2013 and placed him on probation for six months. He was ordered to remain drug free, subject to random screenings and was ordered to pay a $65 monthly probation fee. The other two charges were dismissed.

Jason M. Leonard, 30, of 89 Kendall Ave., Framingham, was summonsed to court on a complaint March 28 by State Police in Shrewsbury and charged with OUI liquor, marked lanes violation, open container violation in a motor vehicle, and willful obstruction of an emergency vehicle. State Police said he failed to stop for the flashing blue lights of their vehicle after traveling a high rate of speed down Route 9, directly down the center of the two travel lanes, according to court documents. He told the police officer that he was not drunk and that he was not drinking the open bottle of Budweiser that police observed on the center console, police said. He said he was not drunk and said he had consumed two beers with Hamburger Helper a few hours ago, police said. When police asked him to exit the vehicle, he used the side of the vehicle to guide himself and headed to the rear of the vehicle, police said. When the trooper told him they were going to the front of the vehicle, the trooper had to help guide him because he was unsteady on his feet, police said. Judge Virzi continued the case to May 14.

Thursday, March 29:

Louis A. Falcon, 31, of 239 Boylston St., Shrewsbury, was arrested March 28 by Grafton police and charged with larceny over $250, possession of burglary tools and trespassing. He was charged with stealing metal railroad ties behind the Cumberland Farms on Upton Street in Grafton. Judge Virzi continued the case to April 25.

Akeem L. Rose, 28, of 5 Jacques Ave. Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested Dec. 31 by Shrewsbury police and charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, carrying a dangerous weapon (two counts) and carrying a firearm without a license. Judge Virzi dismissed the case; the defendant will be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court.

Egan Burdett, 21, of 996 Pleasant St., Worcester, was arrested March 29 by Shrewsbury police and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife.) Judge Virzi continued the case to May 9.

Jeff F. Jenoure, 37, of 9 Bourne St., Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint Feb. 22 by Shrewsbury police and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with no inspection sticker. Judge Virzi dismissed the first charge upon payment of $100 court costs and found him not responsible on the second charge.
