has recently published a book S.T.Y.L.E. – A Complete Guide For Babysitting Success.

The book outlines social media safety for parents and sitters with detailed tips on how to protect yourself—and children—when you are online—especially on Facebook.

For example—when you “tag” a photo, a predator can use that information to track and find the location of a potential victim. The book is a guide for babysitting success and also includes heartwarming and personal stories from SeekingSitters’ babysitters across the country.

Sitters share stories of how the children and the families have touched their lives. The sitter with the winning story received a $500 scholarship.

One of the winning submissions was written by a Framingham woman who wrote about her experience with a Sudbury family. Ruth Hibbard, the featured babysitter, read stories at a Sudbury Family Network story hour at Goodnow Library in Sudbury on Saturday.
