Tuesday, May 14
5:24 a.m.: An officer issued tickets to several vehicles on Hartford Turnpike for speeding.
10:38 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer removed a deer leg from Ira Avenue.

10:18 a.m.: A caller from Sandpiper Drive reported larceny by internet. An officer responded and took a report.
1:25 p.m.: An officer removed panhandlers from the intersection of Rout 9 and Route 140.

1:31 p.m.: A caller from Old Brook Road reported that someone was opening her mail. The caller was advised to notify the post office.
2:36 p.m.: The Animal Control Officer responded to Walnut Street after loose chickens were reported.
3:10 p.m.: An officer observed traffic on Broad Street after a resident complained that a school bus was speeding in the area.
4:07 p.m.: The Animal Control Officer issued a citation to a pet owner on Westmont Road for a loose dog violation.
