Man Arrested Two Hours After Alleged Larceny

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, May 22

8:01 a.m.: Officers responded to a crash on Main Street at Route 290. Both vehicles were towed and one patient refused medical treatment.

3:21 p.m.: A resident went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report a past hit and run crash.

5:18 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a fight on Yorkshire Terrace.

7:20 p.m.: Officers served an arrest warrant to Marilyn Tonelli, 53, of 10 Deergrass Rd. for charges of larceny over $250 and larceny by check.

Thursday, May 23

10:28 a.m.: A resident of Ridgeland Road spoke with an officer regarding concern about a bus stop near their house.

12:09 p.m.: An officer took a report of larceny on Maury Lane.

1:00 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a hit pedestrian on Route 9 at Commons Drive. The pedestrian was taken to UMass Medical Center.

3:50 p.m.: In response to the larceny at Maury Lane, officers arrested Derek Doyon, 33, of 36 Court St. Whitinsville on charges of larceny from a building and larceny over $250.

Friday, May 24

2:01 a.m.: A security guard from UPS reported vandalism to an employees vehicle in the parking lot.
