Memorial Day Parade Begins at 9:30
The parade will depart from the municipal office buildings and travel to the town common.
Calling all Shrewsbury residents, the Veterans Council has invited everyone to attend their annual Shrewsbury Veterans Parade today at 9:30.
The parade will begin at Town Hall before going by the police station and up Maple Avenue to town center where Seamus Shanley will give the memorial address.
After that the parade will continue on to the Mountain View Cemetery for veterans and community events.

According to the Shrewsbury Lantern color guards from the police and fire departments will be joined by the Shrewsbury High School marching band, active and retired military personnel, local officials and many other civic and community groups.
