Officers Speak to Man Selling Beef, Seafood From Truck

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 12

1:07 p.m.: An officer responded to Judick Street where a tree fell on to a motor vehicle.

5:04 p.m.: A caller requested a well-being check of a male on South Quinsigamond. Richard Myers, 28, of 58 Tanager Dr., was arrested and charged with violating a harassment prevention order.

7:42 p.m.: An officer removed a mattress from the roadway on Hartford Turnpike.

9:08 p.m.: Officers responded to a hit and run crash on South Quinsigamond near Ihop. One vehicle was towed and medics responded for evaluations.

Thursday, June 13

1:28 p.m.: A caller reported a one-car crash on Grafton Street. The vehicle involved was towed.

1:42 p.m.: A caller from CVS asked for police assistance in removing two males who were harassing customers. One of the involved males was hospitalized.

4:48 p.m.:  A caller from Edgewater Avenue reported a male driving around trying to sell beef and seafood out of his truck. An officer found the vehicle in question and advised the operator of the town’s soliciting bylaws.

10:27 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on Main Street at Grafton Street. Both vehicles were towed but no injuries were reported.
