Orchard Grove Hosts Michael Perna Discussion

From The Residence at Orchard Grove: The Residence at Orchard Grove (www.residenceorchardgrove.com) will be featuring Author, Historian and Town of Shrewsbury Veteran Services Coordinator Michael Perna to discuss the history of the community’s site, as well as the town of Shrewsbury. The event will be taking place at the Shrewsbury Athletic Club, located at 3 Tennis Drive in Shrewsbury, MA, on Tuesday, May 23 rd and will begin at 12:00 PM. A complimentary lunch will be served as well.

Set to open in Fall 2017, the Residence at Orchard Grove will include independent, assisted, and Reflections Memory Care living for local seniors. The community is owned and operated by LCB Senior Living (www.lcbseniorliving.com).

The presentation and discussion will be the first of many events celebrating the new senior living community. Historian Michael Perna will present a slideshow and lead a discussion on the history of Orchard Grove’s site, as well as of the Town of Shrewsbury. A life-long Shrewsbury resident, Michael has authored several books and articles on the history of Shrewsbury.

Independent Living residents at The Residence at Orchard Grove will have spacious private apartments, along with the peace of mind of 24-hour security, three nutritious meals prepared and served “Anytime Dining” style on-site, fitness center, available laundry and cleaning services, a full activities program, building and grounds maintenance, and a host of optional services.
