Police Log: Child Jumps from Car

The following information was supplied by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, March 8:

8:18 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman with low blood pressure and not feeling well. She was taken to UMass.

9:05 a.m.: A caller reported two younger men entered the woods and then left in a car from Edgewood Road.

11:08 a.m.: Jason T. Robinson, 37, of 9 Phillips Ave., Shrewsbury, was arrested on a warrant for three counts for threatening to commit a crime.

12:34 p.m.: A suspicious man was walking at Prospect and Boylston streets with a red cooler. located the man at the 7-Eleven on Maple Avenue and the man said he quit his job and was waiting for a bus.

12:40 p.m.: A caller reported a man was walking on Summer Street yelling at cars. Police spoke to the man and he is walking back to his house on Main Street.

1:29 p.m.: A medical call was reported on North Quinsigamond Avenue for a woman unable to walk. She was taken to UMass.

3:21 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported his car was broken into on Main Street. A report was taken.

5:19 p.m.: A caller reported a child was pushed from a moving car on Worthington Avenue. Police responded and said the child jumped out on his own and bruises were caused prior to an event at Jordan Pond. Police spoke to all involved.

5:59 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Gleason Road for a woman with a possible stroke. She was taken to St. Vincent's.

6:17 p.m.: Ashley K. Shannon, 25, of 33 Chestnut St., Hopkinton, was arrested and charged with following too close, a marked lanes violation ad OUI liquor, second offense.

7:03 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported on Boston Turnpike.

7:17 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Worthington Drive with four to five kids inside.

7:18 p.m.: A suspicious man was reported hanging around Boston Turnpike.

8:04 p.m.: Three suspicious cars were reported on Lake Street.

8:07 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Chestnut Street. Police responded and said the driver was waiting for their son to get out of work.

10:35 p.m.: A black barrel was in the road on Boston Turnpike. Police removed the barrel.

Friday, March 9:

6:59 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Wheeler Avenue.
