Police Log: 2-Year-old Taken to the Hospital

Wednesday, Feb. 1:

7:34 a.m.: A caller reported a trash barrel in the road at Route 9 and Cherry Street. responded and found nothing in the road.

9:46 a.m.: A person in the lobby turned in property to the police station. The items were put into evidence.

9:52 a.m.: A person in the lobby reported an identity theft. A report was taken.

10:10 a.m.: A caller reported contractors working at Route 20 and Lake Street with no police officer detail. Police responded and advised no contractors were working.

12:05 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Street for a woman with an irregular heart rate and difficulty breathing. She was taken to UMass.

12:37 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Lebeaux Drive for a man unable to walk and with an altered mental status. He was taken to UMass.

12:48 p.m.: A person in the lobby asked to speak to an officer regarding his father. Police spoke to the man.

1:14 p.m.: A caller reported a U-Haul truck was parked in a yard on Oak Street for the last 24 hours and would like police to check on the man. Police responded and reported the tenant is moving out.

4:17 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Rockwell Drive for a woman with a knee injury from a fall. She was taken to UMass.

5:21 p.m.: A caller reported his daughter has been harassed by phone. Police responded and spoke to all involved.

6:34 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported his vehicle was broken into on Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.

8:44 p.m.: A medical call was reported on High Ridge Road for a 2-year-old boy shaking. He was taken to UMass.

8:48 p.m.: Gary Lee Sharp, 31, of 50 Kinglet Dr., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged on a warrant.

11:27 p.m.: A caller reported an unleashed dog at Robertson and Lakeside Drive. The caller said it was possibly a brindle bullmastiff running around.
