Police Log: 3rd Offense Shoplifter; Intent to Distribute Near School

July 30, 5:30 p.m.: Juan Manuel Garcia, 27, of 517 Winter St., Framingham, was arrested and charged with his third charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise, conspiracy and obstruction of justice. He was arrested at 197 Boston Turnpike.

July 31, 1:05 a.m.: Liam Prifti, 17, of 158 Boylston St., Shrewsbury, was arrested on Maple Avenue, and charged with: contributing to the delinquency of a minor; disorderly conduct; disturbing the peace; possession of Class D with intent to distribute; possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance within a 1,000 feet of a school.
