Police Log: Assault on an Officer; 3rd Offense Shoplifting

Aug. 1, 5:12 p.m.: Gary J. Goodwine, 48, 418 Pleasant St., Apt. 1, Worcester, was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Aug. 1, 5:27 p.m.: Denise Lewis, 48, of 3 Middlesex Ave., Worcester, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, third offense.

Aug. 2, 1:21 a.m.: Oscar Mendoza Jr., 17, of 7 Jane St., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor; procuring liquor for a person under 21; larceny under $250; receiving stolen property under $250; and keeping a noisy and disorderly house.

Aug. 2, 3:47 a.m.: Adrian Ramirez, 29, of 235 Boston Turnpike, Apt. 117, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer; malicious destruction of property over $250; resisting arrest; disorderly conduct; and disturbing the peace.
