Police Log: Break-in Reported

Thursday, June 14:

10:32 a.m.: A caller reported a dispute on Grafton Street.

10:55 a.m.: A one-car crash was reported at Crescent Street and Maple Avenue. One was taken to UMass. A report was taken.

11:57 a.m.: A manager requested the removal of a man at an apartment on Main Street.

2:27 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman with chest and abdominal pain. She was taken to UMass.

3:52 p.m.: A woman requested to speak to an officer regarding jewelry taken from Hillando Drive. A report was taken.

4:12 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Farview Avenue for a 5-year-old with a head injury. Medics were cancelled at the scene.

6:13 p.m.: A caller reported suspicious activity on Rice Street.

6:29 p.m.: A caller reported a break-in on Sewell Street. A report was taken.

7:10 p.m: A caller reported two men cutting down brush with machetes on Lear Street North. A report was taken.

7:57 p.m.: Several callers reported a mattress on Boston Turnpike.

8:12 p.m.: A suspicious woman was reported on Boston Turnpike.

8:53 p.m.: A caller reported a man refusing to pay for services rendered on Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.

8:56 p.m.: Jose A. Melendez, 47, of 26 Louis St., Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant and operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended, subsequent offense and a warrant.

8:56 p.m.: Four suspicious men were reported on Overlook Avenue.

9:36 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Meadowsweet Road for a woman who took a handful of pills. She was taken to UMass.

Friday, June 15:

12:52 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Hillando Drive for a man withinjuries from a fall. He was taken to UMass.

1:53 a.m.: Carmen Irr, 25, of no known address, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class E substance and a warrant.

3:11 a.m.: responded to Merriam Avenue for a CO alarm sounding. No illness was reported.
