Police Log: Dog Reported Missing and Found

Monday, Feb. 27:

8:09 a.m.: Two suspicious men were reported on Topsfield Circle. responded and advised they were contractors waiting for their supervisor to arrive.

8:28 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Monadnock Drive for a woman with injuries from a fall. She was taken to UMass.

11:34 a.m.: A domestic dispute was reported on Benton Street. A report was taken.

2:45 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to Prospect Street to retrieve a mix brindle color dog with an electric collar on.

3:19 p.m.: A medical call was reported on South Quinsigamond Avenue for a person who was unresponsive. The patient was taken to UMass.

7:32 p.m.: A suspicious man was possibly drinking on a picnic bench in front of a store on Boston Turnpike. He appeared to have a cut on his hand. He was taken to UMass.

7:50 p.m.: A caller reported finding a wallet at a business on Boston Turnpike. Police returned the wallet to the owner.

8:12 p.m.: A caller found a small, black curly-haired dog on South Quinsigamond Avenue. The caller will hold onto the dog for the night.

8:59 p.m.: A caller reported the smell of smoke in an apartment complex on Commons Drive. The responded and advised someone burned something on the stove. There was smoke, but no fire.

9:21 p.m.: A caller reported her black German Schnauzer was missing from South Quinsigamond Avenue. Police advised the dog was found and left a message from the previous caller on South Quinsigamond Avenue.

9:32 p.m.: A caller reported he locked his keys inside a car that was running on Washington Street. The fire department assisted.

9:49 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Street for a woman with dementia who fell and hit her head. She was taken to the hospital.

Tuesday, Feb. 28:

1:57 a.m.: A caller woke to find lights on in their home on Bumblebee Circle. Police responded and checked the home and found no problems.

2:55 a.m.: A caller reported his car was broken into on Canna Drive. A report was taken.
