Police Log: Eight Arrested over the Weekend

Friday, April 6:
7:13 a.m.: advised the traffic light at Main and Holden streets was on flash. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation was notified.
7:45 a.m.: A caller reported a past dog attack on Weagle Farm Road. The responded and violations will be issued to a dog owner on Horseneck Road.

8:38 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a car fire on Main Street.
10:48 a.m.: Police advised a dead animal was in the road at Old Mill Road and Harrington Avenue. .

11:01 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a person on Julio Drive. The person was taken to UMass.
11:24 a.m.: A person in the lobby reported a stolen car on Worthington Avenue.
1:07 p.m.: A medical call was reported on South Quinsigamond Avenue for a man with injuries from a fall. He was taken to UMass.
1:42 p.m.: A caller reported a lost set of keys on Pineland Avenue.
2:06 p.m.: A caller reported harassing phone calls.
3:26 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a man having a seizure. He was taken to UMass.
3:15 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to Boylston Street for a problem with a pigeon.
5:24 p.m.: A caller reported her 5-year-old daughter missing from Stoney Hill Road. Police responded and located the child with her father.
7:15 p.m.: Richard Steven French, 43, of 50 Forbes St., Apt. 5, Worcester, was arrested and charged on a warrant.
8:57 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike.
9:46 p.m.: A caller reported a gas crew was working on Dewey Road without a detail officer without proper lighting. Police responded, but they were unable to locate.
10:25 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Minot Avenue for a man with difficulty breathing and who is unconscious. He was taken to UMass.
10:34 p.m.: A neighbor reported a man and woman fighting inside an apartment on Parker Road. The man left prior to police arriving and the woman says there are no problems.
11:24 p.m.: A caller reported her car was egged and suspects left on scooters on Camelot Drive.
11:48 p.m.: A caller requested to speak to a police officer for a verbal dispute with her boyfriend on Parker Road. A report was taken.
11:57 p.m.: Samuel M. McLennan, 21, of 4 Adin Dr., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged on a warrant.
Saturday, April 7:
12:59 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Hartford Turnpike.
1:06 a.m.: Jonathan Rodriguez-Vargas, 23, of 3 May St., Apt. 61, Worcester, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance with the intent to distribute and possession of a Class D substance, subsequent offense.
Edward A. Brouillette, Jr., 20, of 85 Commons Dr., Apt. 101, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D substance with he intent to distribute and possession of a Class D substance.
2:39 a.m.: A suspicious man was walking with a bike at Maple Avenue and Oak Street.
3:11 a.m.: Abisai Perez, 24, of 3 May St., Worcester, was arrested and charged on a warrant.
Anna I. Candelaria, 41, of 21 Dewey Rd., Apt. 3, Worcester, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class E substance and a warrant.
5:29 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a woman who was 9-months pregnant and in labor. She was taken to UMass.
5:34 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a man with abdominal pains. He was taken to UMass.
6:19 a.m.: Alaysha Burke, 20, of 259 N. Lake Ave., Apt. Basement, Worcester, was arrested on a warrant.
9:03 a.m.: A caller requested an officer to help with missing locks on a storage container on Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.
9:27 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Hartford Turnpike for a person with an unknown medical problem. The person was taken to UMass.
10:01 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Lake Street for a 14-year-old with a head injury from soccer. She was taken to UMass.
10:45 a.m.: A caller reported the front of her home was egged on Camelot Drive.
1 p.m.: A caller requested a police officer to retrieve two hand guns that belonged to his elderly father on Julio Drive.
3:18 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a stolen purse from Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.
4:08 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported vandalism to his fence on Carter Road. A report was taken.
5:14 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Grove Street for a man with a racing heart. He was taken to UMass.
5:40 p.m.: A woman in the lobby for a custody exchange reporting concerning text messages from her daughter. Police spoke to everyone involved.
6:45 p.m.: A suspicious man was walking out of a yard on Overlook Avenue.
8:08 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Melody Lane for a woman with an accidental overdose on medication and feeling weak. She was taken to UMass.
8:12 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Florence Street.
8:26 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported at North Quinsigamond Avenue and Lear Street.
8:46 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Main Street.
8:54 p.m.: Four suspicious cars were reported on Ridgeland Road.
9:17 p.m.: A caller reported someone smashed the window out of his truck on Grafton Circle. A report was taken.
9:31 p.m.: A caller reported possible gunshots near Route 20. Police reported it was fireworks on the Worcester side of Lake Quinsigamond.
9:50 p.m.: A caller reported a loud party and bonfire on Shirley Road.
10:05 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike.
11:36 p.m.: A caller reported a tire in the road on Main Street.
11:44 p.m.: A suspicious man with a ski mask on inside a business on Lake View Avenue. Police responded and advised it was the owner of the business closing up.
Sunday, April 8:
1:49 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Holden Street.
2:13 a.m.: A woman in the lobby reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend in Millbury. A report was taken.
3:19 a.m.: A caller reported loud music coming from Park Street.
3:44 a.m.: A caller reported a loud argument in the room next door on Boston Turnpike.
4 a.m.: A manager from a business on Boston Turnpike requested a man be removed from the property. Police responded and advised the man is leaving for the night.
7:16 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Gulf Street for a woman with chest pain. She was taken to UMass.
10:17 a.m.: A caller reported a domestic dispute on Lake Street. A report was taken.
11:13 a.m.: Police advised that when removing a box from Holden Street, he found a dead cat. The animal control officer was notified.
1:31 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Bellridge Drive for a woman with chest pain. She was taken to the hospital.
2:06 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Topsfield Circle for a woman with difficulty breathing. Shew as taken to St. Vincent's.
3:12 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a woman who had a seizure. She was taken to UMass.
3:52 p.m.: A caller reported a small extinguished brush fire on Lake Street near the soccer fields. responded as a precaution.
4:17 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Valley Forge Drive for a woman with symptoms of a stroke. She was taken to UMass.
4:26 p.m.: A caller reported a porch on the outside of their home is on fire on Francis Avenue. The fire department responded and prior to their arrival, the owner extinguished it with a garden hose.
6:31 p.m.: A caller reported a car racing around the parking lot on Boston Turnpike.
7:45 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a man overdosing on heroin in a parking lot. He was taken to UMass.
8:42 p.m.: A person turned in a iPod to the police station.
9:03 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Grafton Street for a woman with abdominal pain. She was taken to UMass.
10:28 p.m.: A caller reported a loud gathering inside an apartment on Arbor Drive and children running around.
11:15 p.m.: A caller reported a car speeding and crossing over a center line on Hartford Turnpike.
Monday, April 9:
1:28 a.m.: Police advised portable bathroom stations tipped over at Olympia and Lake View avenues. They belong to UMass Hospital.
1:29 a.m.: Nathan D. Sorensen, 31, of 83 Elm St., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
