Police Log: Facebook Threats and Chainsaw Injury Reported

Friday, Dec. 30:

7:28 a.m.: A caller reported packages in the road on Route 20. UPS and the searched the area and could not find the packages.

9:33 a.m.: A caller reported a sick fox on Centech Boulevard. The responded.

11:22 a.m.: A caller in the station reported an identity theft. Police responded and took a report.

11:36 a.m.: An erratic driver was reported on Route 20 near Cherry Street.

1:02 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to Bridle Path for an animal stuck in the flue of their chimney. The squirrel was removed.

1:27 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to a loose dog on Holden Street.

2 p.m.: A caller reported a stolen Rolex from Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.

2:08 p.m.: :A suspicious man was soliciting customers for money on Boston Turnpike. Police responded and the man was gone.

2:18 p.m.: A caller reported a disturbance at a restaurant on Boston Turnpike. Two women threw food on the floor and left prior to the business calling the police.

2:28 p.m.: A caller reported a metal pole in the road at Main Street and I-290.

4:47 p.m.: A gas odor was reported on Williamsburg Court. The fire department assisted.

5:24 p.m.: A caller reported dogs barking on Spruce Street for over three hours. Police responded and the owners were away and the dogs were being cared for by neighbors.

6:51 p.m.: A caller reported a dispute over visitation rights on Oak Street.

7:48 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a man with injuries from a fall. He was taken to Worcester Medical Center.

8:33 p.m.: A man reported receiving threats over Facebook. Police responded and advised the parents and juvenile to contact Facebook to rectify the situation.

10:36 p.m.: A dispute was reported on Hartford Turnpike.

Saturday, Dec. 31:

12:14 a.m.: A caller reported a dark colored pickup truck was racing up and down Spring Street at a high rate of speed. Police responded and found nothing.

6:18 a.m.: A caller reported there is a car in his driveway and the vehicle is running on South Quinsigamond Avenue. Police responded and the driver was taken into protective custody.

9:24 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Keyes House Road for a woman with an ankle injury from a fall. She was taken to UMass.

10:16 a.m.: A medical call was reported for a person at the fire station on Church Road. He was taken to UMass.

10:21 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Hemingway Street for a woman who has fallen with a possible broken wrist. She was taken to UMass.

10:53 a.m.: A caller reported her car was vandalized with eggs on Grafton Street for the second time in two weeks. A log entry was made by police.

10:53 a.m.: Glass was reported in the road on Broushane Circle. Police responded and advised it was road salt, not glass.

11:07 a.m.: A caller reported smoke coming from a home on Minuteman Way. The fire department responded and advised it was a clothes dryer and nothing was wrong.

1:08 p.m.: A caller reported a girl fell and hurt her neck on Lake Street. She was taken to UMass.

5:30 p.m.: A purse was found on Boston Turnpike. It was returned to the owner.

5:47 p.m.: A caller reported a larceny of a 23-foot ladder on Westwood Road. A report was taken.

8:48 p.m.: Huilian C. Pisky, 26, of 26 Worthington Ave., Shrewsbury, was arrested on a warrant.
