Police Log: Harassing Text Messages Reported

Wednesday, Nov. 17:

8 a.m.: A person in the lobby reported lost personal papers. A report was taken.

9:32 a.m.: The reported it was all quiet on Grafton Street.

10:06 a.m.: An identity theft was reported on Slocum Meadow Lane.

10:31 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Gates Road for a woman with blurred vision and not feeling well. She was taken to UMass.

11:26 a.m.: A caller reported receiving a harassing letter in the mail on Harrington Farms.

12:06 p.m.: A caller reported a break-in in progress on Ireta Road. Police responded and reported there was no break-in and the homeowner's son was home.

12:40 p.m.: A caller reported a past shoplifting incident on Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.

12:57 p.m.: An injured seagull was reported on Boston Turnpike. The animal control officer responded.

1:21 p.m.: A caller reported two loose dogs running on Ashwood Circle. When the animal control officer responded, the dogs were gone.

1:29 p.m.: A medical call was reported on North Quinsigamond Avenue for a man with blurred vision. He was taken to UMass.

5:51 p.m.: A caller reported a woman was harassing him with text messages and stopping by his house on Boylston Circle unexpectedly. A no trespassing order was issued.

7:48 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious car and truck on the side of the road.

9:20 p.m.: Smoke was reportedly coming from the roof of a business on Hartford Turnpike.

9:58 p.m.: A medical call was reported for a 3-year-old choking and vomiting, possible having trouble breathing on Reuben Circle. The boy was not taken to the hospital.

10:40 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Viking Terrace for a man who was unresponsive. He was taken to UMass.

11:23 p.m.: A caller reported a strange odor coming from their basement on Floral Street. NStar was notified.

Friday, Nov. 18:

12:51 a.m.: A suspicious man was reported walking at North Quinsigamond and Lear Street. Police advised it was a postal worker out for a walk.
