Police Log: Knife Assault Leads to Attempted Murder Arrest

Wednesday, Jan. 25:
7:31 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Brookway Drive for a woman with a possible stroke. She was taken to UMass.
8:20 a.m.: A suspicious car was parked on Turning Leaf Circle.

8:27 a.m.: A medical call was reported on North Quinsigamond Avenue for a woman who fainted and fell. She was taken to UMass.
10:34 a.m.: reported a limb snapped on LeBlanc Road and was hanging in the road. The was notified.

10:42 a.m.: A suspicious van has been parked on Boston Turnpike for about a month.
11:29 a.m.: A caller reported an erratic driver on Boylston Street heading north. Boylston police were notified.
1:59 p.m.: A suspicious man attempted to sell a laptop computer at a business on Main Street. Police responded and took the laptop until they could prove who owned it.
3:43 p.m.: A suspicious car was in a driveway on Barnard Street.
3:47 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious man hunting in a backyard on Eaton Street.
4:46 p.m.: The responded to Bumblebee Circle for a loose dog complaint. The officer wan unable to locate the dog.
4:53 p.m.: The responded to Boylston Circle for an odor of burning plastic.
8:09 p.m.: A suspicious man was reported on Holden Street.
10:07 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported on Boston Turnpike heading east.
10:23 p.m.: A dispute was reported at Arrowwood Drive and Lake Street.
10:26 p.m.: A caller reported a man had a stab wound to his arm pit on Shrewsbury Green Drive. The man was taken to UMass.
Luke Lucier, 19, of 12 Sadler Ave., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and attempted murder.
