Police Log: Loose Dogs Found

Wednesday, March 7:

7:08 a.m.: A caller reported larceny of fuel from Wingate Street. A report was taken.

7:55 a.m.: A person in the lobby reported a lost passport. A report was taken.

9:28 a.m.: A caller reported a dispute between a leasing office employee and a tenant on Yorkshire Terrace.  responded and spoke to the people involved.

11:08 a.m.: The  responded to Grafton Street for a report of loose dogs. She returned the dogs to the owner from Francis Avenue.

12:04 p.m.: Police reported the island marker sign was knocked down at Route 9 and Elm Street. Mass Highway was notified.

1:59 p.m.: A caller reported suspicious men in a white van on Boylston Circle. Police responded and advised the men are working for the state and waiting for the homeowner to come home.

2:27 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman with stroke-like symptoms. She was taken to UMass.

4:58 p.m.: A caller reported a lost set of keys.

5:07 p.m.: Police responded to Holden Street for damage to a front door.

6:36 p.m.: A caller reported a fight between three or four teenagers at Fieldstone Drive and Spring Street.

7:18 p.m.: A caller reported two men going door-to-door selling power windows. Police advised they need solicitor permits.

7:22 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman needing a lift assist. She was taken to UMass.

8:10 p.m.: A suspicious man was reported in the back of a business Boston Turnpike. Police responded and said the man appeared to be intoxicated. He was taken home.

9:09 p.m.: Joshua Lloyd Smith, 30, of 7 Samoset, Worcester, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

Thursday, March 8:

1:15 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike. Police issued a criminal complaint to the driver.

2:05 a.m.: A suspicious person was reported on Boston Turnpike.

2:51 a.m.: A suspicious man was reported on Boston Turnpike.

6:34 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Street for a woman that has fallen. She was taken to St. Vincent's.

6:51 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Elizabeth Street.
