Police Log: Loose Oxen Reported

Wednesday, Jan. 18:

8:29 a.m.: A caller reported a truck blocking their driveway on Boston Turnpike. responded and reported the truck is not out of the way.

8:53 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported at Boston Turnpike and Grafton Street. One person was taken to UMass. A report was taken.

9:29 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Woodway Drive for a woman who was unresponsive, but breathing. She was taken to UMass.

10:02 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a man who had fallen and injured his shoulder. He was taken to UMass.

11:49 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Lake Street for a man with a high fever. He was taken to St. Vincent's.

11:49 a.m.: A suspicious person was reported walking around the neighborhood on Clear View Road.

12:23 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a larceny by check. A report was taken.

1:43 p.m.: The responded to Edgewater Avenue for a retrieved dog. It was returned to its owner.

1:59 p.m.: A person in the lobby asked to speak to an officer regarding an ongoing issue with their neighbor trespassing on Knowlton Avenue. A report was taken.

2:41 p.m.: A medical call was reported for a person with chest pains at a business on Boston Turnpike. The person was taken to UMass.

2:55 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a fraud. A report was taken.

6:20 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Holden Street.

6:47 p.m.: Vennetia Jossett Prevost, 21, of 220 Haffards St., Apt. 2, Fall River, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Prevost was also charged on a warrant.

11:47 p.m.: Richard L. Callands, Jr., 43, of 69 Grove St., Shrewsbury. was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday, Jan. 19:

1:51 a.m.: A suspicious person was reported on Boston Turnpike.

2:40 a.m.: Loose oxen were reported on Centech Boulevard.

2:44 a.m.: A suspicious man was reported on Hartford Turnpike.

3:53 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman feeling faint. She was taken to UMass.
