Police Log: Man Arrested for Fourth OUI

Wednesday, May 23:

7:14 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Oak Street for a man who passed out. He was taken to UMass.

7:48 a.m.: A caller reported a tire in the break down lane at Boston Turnpike and Grafton Street.

8:02 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Niblick Road.

8:27 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Elm Street for a man with a high temperature. He was taken to UMass.

10:38 a.m.: A person in the lobby turned in old ammunition on Glendale Avenue.

11:26 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Francis Gardens Court for a woman with general weakness. She was taken to UMass.

11:41 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Bunker Hill Road for a woman who locked herself in the bathroom with an altered mental status. She was taken to the hospital.

12:22 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported an identity theft on Grafton Street. A report was taken.

1:36 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a woman with a thumb laceration with an arterial bleed. She was taken to UMass.

1:57 p.m.: The responded to Lake Street for a loose dog with many children arround. A beagle was removed from the area.

3:38 p.m.: A caller reported a woman was in a store on Boston Turnpike fraudently returning items. Police responded and the following people were arrested:

Melissa Jean Gooslin, 34, of 204 Lake St., Moosup, CT, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property under $250 and possession of an open container of alcohol in public.

Gregory K. Gunderson, 58, of 46 John St., Danielson, CT, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of an open container of alcohol in public.

Carrie McClure, 32, of 46 John St., Danielson CT, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property under $250 and possession of anopencontainer of alcohol in public.

Sandra A. Romanek, 46, of 46 John St., Danielson, CT, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation, receiving stolen property under $250 and possession of an open container of alcohol in public.

4:05 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported harassment. A report was taken.

5:04 p.m.: Police found a cell phone in a parking lot on Boston Turnpike. The owner will be contacted.

5:15 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported at South Quinsigamond Avenue and Boston Turnpike. One woman was taken to UMass. A report was taken.

5:22 p.m.: A caller reported fire alarms sounding on Patriot Lane. responded and advised it was smoke from cooking.

7:31 p.m.: A caller witnessed two men smash a window behind Main Street. A report was taken.

7:52 p.m.: A caller reported a broken seal on his trailer on Memorial Drive. A report was taken.

8:33 p.m.: A caller advised there was a dispute between homeless people under the Route 9 bridge. Police were unable to locate a problem.

Thursday, May 24:

2:03 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Hartford Turnpike.

2:05 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Hartford Turnpike.

6:56 a.m.: The animal control officer removed an opossum at Main Street and Gates Road.

7:26 a.m.: A suspicious man was reported on Hartford Turnpike.

10:02 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a possible ankle fracture. The person was taken to UMass.

11:30 a.m.: A caller reported an ongoing neighborhood dispute over a lawn on Prospect Street. Police spoke to those involved.

12:17 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a possible past larceny. A repor twas taken.

1:27 p.m.: A suspicious truck was reported on Seton Drive.

4:20 p.m.: A Realtor advised an attempt of Craig's List property rental scam on Edgemont Road.

4:58 p.m.: Phillip Turner, 64, of 200 Vernon St., Apt. 202W, Worcester, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, fourth offense.

5:05 p.m.: A caller reported a dispute between a female resident andcontractors on South Street.

6:21 p.m.: A neighbor reported a dispute betwen a man and woman on Lakeside Drive.

6:22 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Hartford Turnpke.

6:46 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a woman passing a kidney stone in her car. She was taken to UMass.

7:12 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Memorial Drive.

7:24 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported at Route 140 and I-290.

9:31 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Pond View Drive.

Friday, May 25:

12:34 a.m.: A caller reported loud music on South Quinsigamond Avenue.

1:05 a.m.: Police responded to Maple Avenue and Old Mill Roadfor a man skateboarding in the area.

1:13 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Holden Street.

3:17 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Avon Avenue for a man with chest pain. He was taken to UMass.

3:24 a.m.: Police retrieved found property on Maple Avenue. The owner was notified.

5:17 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Brookway Drive for a woman with difficulty breathing. She was taken to UMass.
