Police Log: Man Arrested on Rape Charge

Tuesday, Jan. 24:

10:01 a.m.: Dennis J. Martin, 43, of 10 Verdana Ave., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with speeding in violation of a special regulation and operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended, subsequent offense.

12:54 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Thorning Drive.

1:33 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported an identity theft. A report was taken.

5:27 p.m.: A caller reported two trailers were broken into on Memorial Drive. A report was taken.

5:36 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported and just involved in a minor accident on Main Street.

6:28 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Jefferson Drive for a man with difficulty breathing. He was taken to UMass.

7:25 p.m.: Suban Krishnamoorthy, 64, of 29 Pal Dr., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

8:46 p.m.: A domestic dispute was reported on Shrewsbury Green Drive. Both people were advised of their domestic rights.

9:12 p.m.: A caller reported a loose pit bull near Gold Street and Adams Farms Road.

10:21 p.m.: Ronald Joseph Kerswell, 50, of 6 Rollie Shepard Dr., Millbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property over $250, speeding, OUI, second offense, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police.

Wednesday, Jan. 25:

12:47 a.m.: Justin Kenneth Flood, 24, of 121 Maywood St., Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested on a warrant and charged with larceny over $250, assault and battery, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possessing tinted windows, failure to appear, assault and battery and rape.

5:33 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Villa Road for a woman with a lower GI bleed. She was taken to UMass.
