Police Log: Man Caught Selling Prescription Drugs

Thursday, April 26:

7:37 p.m.: Nicolette Beshai, 27, of 218 South Quinsigamond Ave., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, OUI liquor and drinking alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle.

8:32 p.m.: A caller reported a harassing phone call on Boylston Street. Police spoke to the responding person over the phone and advised them.

9:10 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Prospect Street for a woman with injuries from a fall. She was taken to UMass.

9:31 p.m.: A caller reported a man attempting sell prescription medication in front of a business on Boston Turnpike. Police were unable to locate the man.

Friday, April 27:

7:03 a.m.: A caller reported youths gathering on Main Street and causing a disturbance. .

9:57 a.m.: A caller reported an ongoing harassment. A report was taken.

9:59 a.m.: The animal control officer responded to Boston Turnpike to remove a bird from the business.

12:08 p.m.: Two suspicious men were reported on Olympia Avenue. Police located the car and the men on North Quinsigamond Avenue and sent them on their way.

3:35 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on South Quinsigamond Avenue. One woman was taken to the hospital. A report was taken.

4:26 p.m.: A medical call was reported on South Quinsigamond Avenue for a man with an altered mental status. He was taken to UMass.

4:50 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported on I-290. The Worcester Police were notified.

5:06 p.m.: A possible phone scam was reported on Maple Avenue.

5:30 p.m.: A caller reported his son was involved in an assault on Main Street. He will come to the police station to file a report.

5:35 p.m.: Police responded to a mulch fire on Boston Turnpike. The officer was able to put out the fire.

5:40 p.m.: A caller reported door damage to the concession stand on Main Street at . Police responded and a report was taken.

6:53 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Candlewood Way for a man coughing up blood. He was taken to the Worcester Medical Center.

9:10 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Lake Street.

9:15 p.m.: A caller reported a woman was refusing to leave a building on Julio Drive. Police responded and the woman was gone.

Saturday, April 28:

8:30 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman with a high fever.

1:05 p.m.: A man and woman were reported arguing at Shrewsbury Commons.

Samir K. Sengupta, 66, of 55 Commons Dr., Apt. 4, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

1:07 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Worthington Avenue for a woman with general body weakness. She was taken to St. Vincent's.

2:47 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a past assault on Main Street. A report was taken.

4:02 p.m.: A one-car crash vs. a pole was reported at Route 140 and Colonial Drive. One was taken to St. Vincent's. .

4:25 p.m.: A suspicious man on Maple Avenue was looking for information on an employee saying he was a police officer. Police spoke to the man and issues a no trespass officer.

4:27 p.m.: A caller reported a table was damaged by a contractor working on their home on Straw Hollow Lane. Police responded.

5:25 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Pratt Lane.

6:25 p.m.: A caller reported a woman parked next to his car on Lakeside Path and then dented his door. Police responded and helped with a paper exchange.

10:30 a.m.: A woman in the lobby reported her estranged husband has not secured their son's car seat properly. Police said the man left the station prior to an inspection of his car and called back later to report the seat was installed properly.

7:53 p.m.: A caller reported Spring Street School was damaged by eggs. Police also advised there were five holes on the side of the building possibly done by a baseball bat.

9:37 p.m.: A medical call was reported on North Quinsigamond Avenue for a woman who had fallen. She was taken to UMass.

10:02 p.m.: A suspicious man was reported on Tip Pond Road near Holman Street.

10:19 p.m.: A caller reported a noise complaint on Lake View Avenue.

11:04 p.m.: Loud music was reported on Lake Street.
