Police Log: Publisher's Clearing House Scam, Woman Struck by Paintball

Monday, April 30:
8:18 a.m.: A caller asked about a publisher's clearing house scam. The caller was told to call back in the event that she witnessed anything suspicious.
8:56 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Bowditch Drive for a woman not feeling well. She was taken to UMass.

9:47 a.m.: A caller reported damage to her fence some time during the night. A report was taken.
11:13 a.m.: A brush fire was reported on Dana Road. .

2:13 p.m.: A caller reported she was just struck by a paint ball at an apartment on Boston Turnpike. She didn't know where it came from, but .
2:32 p.m.: A caller reported damage to her screen window and some siding on the home on Spring Street. Police responded and a report was taken.
2:42 p.m.: An anonymous caller reported a tractor parked on the road on Melvin Avenue. A log entry was made.
3:12 p.m.: A larceny was reported on Boston Turnpike. A person in the lobby said their ATM card was stolen. A report was taken.
3:17 p.m.: responded to Shirley Road to investigate an electric fence issue. No problems were found.
3:31 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to Hartford Turnpike for a complaint about cats and the owner said they will make sure the cats are neutered this weekend.
3:58 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to a bird on the road on Shannon Drive.
6:03 p.m.: A caller reported a bird was stuck in a pipe on Harrington Avenue. The bird was removed by the animal control officer.
7:30 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Grafton Street for a woman with a rapid heart rate. She was taken to UMass.
8:38 p.m.: Thomas J. Boulay, of 28 Malvern Rd., Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
8:50 p.m.:A medical call was reported on Robin Road for a man feeling faint. He was taken to UMass.
9:46 p.m.: A suspicious car was parked in the upper lot in the back of a business on Boston Turnpike. Police responded and the car was unoccupied.
9:52 p.m.: A person in the lobby from Oak Street reported her husband had been missing since Saturday. Police responded and spoke to the person and said the man is not missing at this time.
10:15 p.m.: A suspicious siren was sounding on Boston Turnpike. The cars in the area and the area was checked by police and nothing was found.
Tuesday, May 1:
1:27 a.m.: A suspicious man was walking in the area of Sewell and Gulf streets.
