Police Log: Shoplifting Leads to Drug Arrest

Tuesday, March 20:
9:25 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Park Street for a man with an altered mental status. He was taken to UMass.
9:32 a.m.: A suspicious man was going through the trash on Maple Circle. responded and advised he was going through recyclables.

11:55 a.m.: removed a dead black male cat at North Quinsigamond Avenue and Parker Road.
2:25 p.m.: A person in the lobby asked to speak to a police officer regarding a harassing message.

2:52 p.m.: Two suspicious men entered the woods on Woodland Road and were possibly involved in drug activity. Police responded and the cars were gone.
4:29 p.m.: A caller reported harassing phone calls. Police referred them to the Worcester Police Department.
4:47 p.m.: A caller reported an ice chest was stolen from her garage on Walnut Street. A report was taken.
5:10 p.m.: Andrea Lavigne, 33, of 11 Franklin St., Apt. 24, West Boylston, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, two counts of possession of a Class B substance and five counts of possession of a Class E substance.
5:32 p.m.: A caller reported an identity theft on Crescent Street. A report was taken.
6:37 p.m.: A caller reported a mailbox and school sign was damaged on Spring Street. was notified.
7:01 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Old Mill Road. One driver was taken to UMass. A report was taken.
10:49 p.m.: A caller reported a construction worker using a jack hammer on Boston Turnpike and it was keeping him awake. Police responded and said the work would end in a half hour.
11:12 p.m.: A caller reported two men parked in a car on Main Street. Police responded and the car was gone.
Wednesday, March 21:
12:25 a.m.: A caller reported his girlfriend was throwing his belongings out the window on South Quinsigamond Avenue. Police responded and spoke to both people.
12:55 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Cedar Road for a woman with general body weakness. She was taken to Worcester Medical Center.
1:02 a.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Hartford Turnpike.
1:04 a.m.: Two suspicious cars were reported on Boston Turnpike.
