Police Log: Squirrel Reportedly Acts Strange

Tuesday, May 29:

9:02 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Roman Drive for a woman choking. She was taken to UMass.

9:31 a.m.: A caller reported a squirrel was acting strange in their backyard on Venus Drive. responded and the squirrel was gone.

9:41 a.m.: A medical call was reported on North Street for a woman with injuries from a fall. She was taken to UMass.

11:21 a.m.: A caller found a pit bull found on Monroe Street.

11:26 a.m.: A caller reported a house alarm is going off on Fifth Avenue. Police responded and advised it was a car alarm going off.

12:29 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Beverly Hill Drive for a woman with severe arm pain. He was taken to UMass.

12:54 p.m.: A caller reported bushes are creating a hazard at Harrington Avenue and Old Mill Road.

1:18 p.m.: A caller reported a past break-in to their car on Tennis Drive. A report was taken.

2:04 p.m.: A caller reported a man caller her numerous times regarding a loan. The police advised the caller not to release any information to the caller.

3:05 p.m.: A caller reported a verbal dispute between a neighbor and the caller on Forest Hill Drive. Police responded and spoke to everyone involved.

3:09 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to Centech Boulevard for a German shepherd loose in the area.

3:20 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported harassment and threats by a co-worker. A report was taken.

3:23 p.m.: Police helped with a loose white poodle in the area of Prospect and Adin Drive.

3:30 p.m.: A caller reported a lost or stolen wallet on Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.

3:42 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported harassment.

3:46 p.m.: Nearby residents reported loud music from the playing fields on Main Street. Police responded and advised it is not unreasonable for this time of day.

4:59 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to O'Donnell Avenue for a large turtle from a front porch and placed it in the garden.

5:40 p.m.: A suspicious group was reported on dirt bikes on Holden Street.

5:58 p.m.: A caller reports harassment by an ex-husband on Keyes House Road. A report was taken.

7:55 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Topsfield Circle for a pregnant woman with a sinkable episode. She was taken to St. Vincent's.

8:15 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike. Two people were watching the storm.

8:56 p.m.: Two suspicious people were reported at the cemetery on Boylston Street. Police responded and couldn't find them.

9:27 p.m.: Police stood by Boston Turnpike because of road flooding.

9:28 p.m.: A caller reported traffic lights weren't working at Main Street and Old Mill Road.

9:48 p.m.: A caller reported a verbal dispute between her and a neighbor on Shrewsbury Green Drive. Police responded and spoke to everyone involved.

10:25 p.m.: A caller reported a light pole on fire at Westview Avenue and Main Street. .

Wednesday, May 30:

6:13 a.m.: Fire alarms were sounding on Farmington Drive. The fire department responded and advised the alarm needed a battery change.
