Police Log: Student Assaulted on School Bus

Tuesday, Nov. 8:
7:42 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported at Memorial Drive and Grafton Street. Three were taken to UMass. A report was taken.
7:49 a.m.: advised a street sign was removed from Boston Turnpike.

9:22 a.m.: Police reported a stop sign was missing from Bow Street.
11:07 a.m.: A person reported a dispute on Maple Avenue.

12:34 p.m.: The responded to Route 140 near I-290 for a deer. The animal was picked up.
12:49 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Francis Gardens Court for a woman who needed a life assist. She was taken to the hospital.
1:30 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Selina Street for a man unable to move. He was taken to St. Vincent's.
2:43 p.m.: A loose dog was reported on Ireta Road.
2:48 p.m.: A caller reported footprints in their backyard on Grafton Street.
2:57 p.m.: A caller reported a dispute on Bailey Road.
3:37 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Street for a man with symptoms of a stroke. He was taken to UMass.
3:42 p.m.: A caller from North Quinsigamond Avenue reported she was assaulted by a boy on a school bus. Police spoke to the parents and they will follow-up with the school.
4:41 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a license plate was lost. A report was taken.
6:25 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Wesleyan Street.
7:14 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike.
7:15 p.m.: A larceny of a wallet was reported on Boston Turnpike. A person in the lobby reported his wallet was stolen out of his car. A report was taken.
9:58 p.m.: A caller reported fire alarms were sounding on Francis Avenue.
9:59 p.m.: David Alan Shays, 22, of 53 Elm St., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor.
Wednesday, Nov. 9:
12:23 a.m.: A caller reported a large deer was struck by a car in the high-speed lane on Boston Turnpike.
7:40 a.m.: A caller reported a car was removing items from a donation box on Boston Turnpike. A report was taken.
8:19 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Holden Street for a student with a neck injury from passing out. He was taken to UMass.
9:56 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Ireta Road for a woman not feeling well. She was taken to St. Vincent's.
10:19 a.m.: A person in the lobby reported a lost ring. A report was taken.
10:41 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Grafton Street for a man unable to get up from a back injury. He was taken to UMass.
11:50 a.m.: A caller reported a neighbor dispute over a tree on Seneca Street.
12:07 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a larceny by credit card. A report was taken.
12:23 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Circle for a man with difficulty breathing. The man was taken to UMass.
1:19 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Main Street for a woman unable to walk due to weakness. She was taken to UMass.
2:48 p.m.: A suspicious van was reported on Trowbridge Lane.
3:28 p.m.: A caller reported a shoplifting incident on Boston Turnpike.
4:06 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike.
5:23 p.m.: A caller reported his ex-wife stole his checkbook from Old Mill Road.
5:33 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Hartford Turnpike.
6:06 p.m.: A man hole cover was reported off its base and broken into pieces on Honeysuckle Lane.
6:33 p.m.: Zachary Brian Burnham, 19, of 552 Main St., Apt. 5, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation.
6:50 p.m.: Naveen Batra, 41, of 3 Birchwood Dr., Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, OUI liquor and uninsured motor vehicle (criminal).
8:19 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Florence Street.
8:56 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Maury Lane for a man with chest pain. He was taken to the Worcester Medical Center.
9:05 p.m.: A caller reported his son's cell phone was stolen from Fox Hill Road. A report was taken.
9:09 p.m.: Andrew Smith, 34, of 211 Vernon St., Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested and charged on a warrant.
Thursday, Nov. 10:
2:23 a.m.: A caller reported loud music on Lake Street.
6:04 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Holly Lane for a woman with injuries from a fall. She was taken to UMass.
