Police Log: Woman Goes into Labor on Route 9

Thursday, May 3:
8:02 a.m.: A medical call was reported on Jacobson Drive for a man with complications from surgery. He was taken to St. Vincent's.
9:10 a.m.: A caller reported an ongoing noise disturbance on Melvin Avenue. .

11:25 a.m.: A caller reported a domestic dispute on Main Boulevard. Police responded and said it was verbal and all parties were spoken to by police.
11:51 a.m.: A suspicious man was reportedly walking toward Route 20 carrying a shovel and wearing a yellow vest and a red sweatshirt, and yelling at traffic. Police were unable to locate the man.

1:09 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Hunter Circle for a woman with alcohol poisoning. Shew as taken to UMass.
1:11 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Selina Street for a man with weakness. He was taken to St. Vincent's.
2:06 p.m.: The responded to a loose dog on South Quinsigamond Avenue.
2:15 p.m.: Two suspicious men entered the woods on Browning Avenue. Police responded and found a car with no one around.
2:29 p.m.: A caller reported loud music on Melvin Avenue. Police responded and found nothing.
3:31 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Ferncroft Road for a man with tremors. He was taken to the Worcester Medical Center.
3:49 p.m.: The animal control officer responded to Straw Hollow Lane for a sick fox. The officer could not find the fox.
6:12 p.m.: A caller reported a possible phone scam. A log entry was made.
6:26 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported a lost wallet. A report was taken.
7:08 p.m.: A caller reported a person vandalizing their vehicle on Rolfe Avenue. Police responded and said it was a dispute between school kids. A report was taken.
7:21 p.m.: A person in the lobby reported fraudulent credit card charges on Sycamore Road. Police gave advice.
7:51 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Julio Drive for a woman with an altered mental status. She was taken to UMass.
9:04 p.m.: Cynthia L. Mathews, 31, of 7 Winslow St., Apt. 1, Worcester, was arrested and charged on a warrant for shoplifting.
9:44 p.m.: A suspicious car was reported on Boston Turnpike.
11:07 p.m.: A medical call was reported on Boston Turnpike for a woman in labor. She was taken to UMass.
Friday, May 4:
2:11 a.m.: Nikyara A. Costa, 25, 11 Weld St., Apt. 29, Framingham, was arrested and charged with a marked lanes violation and OUI liquor.
