In Court: Man Yanks Dog While Walking It

Police arrested a man for animal cruelty while he was walking his dog.

On Monday, a officer observed a man walking his dog on Route 9.

While walking his dog, the man pulled the leash attached to the dog's choke collar so violently that the 40-pound dog came off the ground and backwards approximately 7 to 8 feet, according to the police report. Police advised the man doing it again.

When the police officer approached the man, he said he could train the (expletive) puppy any way he wanted to train his (expletive) puppy. He said he wasn't doing anything wrong, according to police.

The officer said he would contact the and the man said, "Thanks (expletive), you're a lot of (expletive) help," according to the report.

. He was arraigned in Westborough District Court yesterday.
